A Community That Cares

The Safe & Sound Child Advocacy Center is a community project funded by the generosity of Midland foundations and individuals. Team Up Against Child Abuse Quiz Bowl

On December 4 2009, Safe & Sound held it's second annual "Team Up Against Child Abuse Quiz Bowl" fundraiser. Fourteen teams competed in the trivia challenge, testing their knowledge of music, history, sports and much more. The event, hosted by Chemical Bank’s Bob Stafford, raised more than $6,500 for Safe & Sound programs and operations. Congratulations to the team of "Earl Soules and Friends," the 2009 Champions.

Children's Trust Fund

 

Michigan's Children's Trust Fund (CTF) is a major source of funds  for the Safe & Sound Child Advocacy Center. CTF is the statewide non-profit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect through education, awareness and guidance. It supports prevention programs that develop a community response to child abuse and neglect. Safe & Sound is the designated local council for CTF.
